Briana is originally from the Bronx, NY but has lived in Maryland since 2013. She graduated from Charlotte School of Law in December 2012 and from CUNY Lehman College with honors, in 2008 earning a BA in Political Science. Her career started in community organizing as a public health educator working for the LGBT Center of NY. Prior to starting with Michael D. Herman & Associates, PC in June of 2022, she worked at Queens Pride House, Latin American Coalition, Bread for the City, Quality Trust for Individuals with Disabilities, Unidos US and Transperfect Legal Solutions.
At our firm, Briana has mostly focuses on Family Law and representing injured Plaintiffs in Personal Injury cases. She also represents several businesses including non-profits performing civil litigation and non-profit management services. In May 2023, Briana was elected Chair of the City of New Carrollton’s City Council. She also serves as a member of the Prince George’s County Democratic Central Committee for District 22. When she isn’t trying to save the world or working as an attorney practicing Family Law, representing Personal Injury clients, or battling in Civil Litigation, she enjoys spending time with her two sons and trying new foods at different restaurants in the DMV.
