Jacob “Jake” Gould recently joined the firm, focusing on Family Law and Personal Injury cases. He is a licensed attorney in Maryland, Washington, D.C., New York, and New Jersey.
Jake earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University in Boston and his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law in Rhode Island. Before moving to the D.C. area, he worked in New York on white-collar crime cases, focusing on recovering stolen funds for victims.
With nine years of combined teaching and legal experience in special education, Jake brings a unique perspective to the firm. As a teacher in Washington, D.C., he worked with students with severe and profound disabilities. Later, as an attorney, he advocated for families of children with special needs, ensuring that students received comprehensive evaluations and appropriate Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Outside of work, Jake enjoys spending time with his two children, hiking, swimming, and practicing martial arts.
