Biography
Holly Holmes Devaser is a partner with the firm. Her main focuses are Civil Litigation; Wills, Trusts and Estates; and Business Law. She is a member of the Maryland Bar.
Holly received her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She earned her juris doctor degree at the University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore, Maryland. There, she was a staff member of the Journal of Race, Religion, Gender and Class. She also participated in the Environmental Law Society, which included assisting in environmental litigation on behalf of citizens injured by coal mining practices in their communities.
Holly comes to the law offices from a lobbying firm in Washington, D.C. While there, she drafted and reviewed legislation to be presented on Capitol Hill, and analyzed legislative histories for legislative and administrative purposes. She also drafted issue papers for the Association’s Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and General Law Committee.
