Michael Herman is an excellent attorney. I have brought legal issues to him on several occasions. He has always been knowledgeable about business law. Like me, he is a business owner, and he evaluates legal issues from that perspective, providing counsel that is straightforward and timely. I want to write a quick note of thanks to Michael Herman, Esq. and his team. I was in a car accident in July of 2014 which was deemed the other driver’s fault. While it was not a major accident in terms of property damage, I nevertheless sustained significant injuries that required extensive rehab, the cost of which exceeded what my insurance company would pay. Once the funds from the Personal Injury Protection on my policy ran out, I was denied medical services. This is when Michael D. Herman, Esq. & Associates stepped in to help. They immediately worked with my medical providers so I was able to continue with my treatments. Once I was released from care, the firm worked tirelessly with the insurance company of the at-fault driver to achieve a settlement. The insurance company kept low-balling their offers, which initially did not cover all of my out-of-pocket expenses, and later just barely covered them.

When it was clear the insurance company was not going to make a reasonable settlement offer, Michael Herman had no hesitation in filing a lawsuit. Once this happened, the court ordered an Alternative Dispute Resolution session prior to the trial. Michael Herman was an expert negotiator in those proceedings and I was very pleased with the final outcome. I got all my medical bills paid, as well as a little extra!

Shortly after the New Year of 2014, my case of discrimination against a local school system was like a small boat in the middle of a turbulent sea.
